US-WAR-RALLY-ROLLING THUNDER
War veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam, Elton Ensor (L), 82, a Navy frogman, SEAL and a volunteer with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) by spending time with wounded soldiers and airmen at Walter Reed Medical Center, sports a tattoo on his arm that in today's military would be found politically incorrect, as he takes part in the annual Rolling Thunder motorcycle rally in Washington, D.C., 26 May 2007. Thousands of bikers and non-riders are participating in the 2007 edition of the "Rolling Thunder" annual bike rally which this year marks the 20th anniversary of the event staged during the Memorial Day weekend as a sign of support to the United States Armed Forces and its soldiers. Rolling Thunder began 20 years ago to draw attention to US troops missing in action in Vietnam, some of whom they say may still be alive or whose remains need to be returned to their families.
