SENEGAL-VOTE
Two women come together at the entrance to a polling station 03 June 2007 set up in a Dakar school for the Parliamentary elections held three months after the re-election of Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade. Senegal voted in parliamentary elections 03 June marked by low turnout amid a boycott called by the main opposition parties. Few voters had cast their ballots half-way through the day in the capital and its surrounding suburbs in elections likely to dent the government's legitimacy and tarnish the country's democratic credentials.
