Former Senegalese Prime Minister Moustapha Niasse of the Alliance of Forces of Progress delivers a speech during his investiture as candidate for the upcoming presidential elections on January 4, 2012, in Dakar. Two ex-prime ministers and the head of Senegal's socialist party joined a growing list of candidates in a divided opposition vying to oust veteran president Abdoulaye Wade in February polls. The three opponents, Niasse, former Prime Minister Idrissa Seck Socialist Party member Ousmane Tanor, officially declared their candidacy two days after Senegalese music icon Youssou Ndour stirred up the presidential race by saying he would run for the seat.
