Jordan Norton, grandfather of a murdered baby Vernon Norton, attends the proceedings of a different child murder case, 01 August 2007, outside the Highcourt in Cape Town. Opposition political parties and activists group have been urging the goverment to step up measures to contain such crimes as cases of child kidnappings, rapes and murders continue piling up.
