IRAQ-US-UNREST-TRANSPORT
An Iraqi woman and young girl walk by a parked bicycle sporting six mirrors in a street in Baquba, 03 October 2007, some 50 kilometres northeast of Baghdad. To limit the possibility of suicide car bomb attacks it is forbidden by the US military authorities to drive a car or ride a motorcycle or bicycle in Baquba. The only exceptions to this rule allow for two cars to be used by the CLN (Concerned Local Nationalists), a US Army-controlled Sunni detachment of neighbourhood self-defence volunteers, and one vehicle for the local Sheikh.
