(FILES) --This picture dated 03 June 2004 shows Moinina Fofana, accused of war crimes during the 1991 to 2002 conflict in Sierra Leone, at the start of the opening trial of the UN-backed Special Court for Sierra Leone in Freetown. The prosecution at the UN-backed court for Sierra Leone said 10 October 2007 that it may appeal the light jail terms handed to two former militia bosses, Moinina Fofana and Allieu Kondewa, leaders of the Civil Defence Forces (CDF) -- a notorious pro-government force which recruited traditional hunters to fight rebels during the 1991-2001 conflict -- jailed 09 October for six and eight years respectively.
