FRANCE-MUSEES-IMMIGRATION-CHIRAC
French former President Jacques Chirac (L) hugs former European deputy and President of the "Cite nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration" (CNHI), Jacques Toubon (R), upon his arrival, 19 October at the CNHI in Paris, which opened its doors 10 October 2007. The aim of the museum is to situate the history of immigration in a common history federating the memories of the French around a shared memory.
