FRANCE-MUSEES-IMMIGRATION-CHIRAC
Former European deputy and President of the "Cite nationale de l’histoire de l’immigration" (CNHI), Jacques Toubon (C) and CNHI headmistress, Patricia Sitruk (L), show a picture to French former President Jacques Chirac (R) during his visit of the CNHI, 19 October in Paris. The aim of the museum, which opened its doors 10 October 2007, is to situate the history of immigration in a common history federating the memories of the French around a shared memory.
