US-DROUGHT
Due to low water levels caused by severe drought, an irrigation line from Lake Wylie is exposed in the Riverpointe neighborhood around the lake 20 October 2007 outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. Many docks and boats in the area now sit on dry land, or above the low water. Lake Wylie and Lake Norman, both fed by the Catawba River, are seeing their shorelines increase as water levels drop.
