NEPAL-FESTIVAL-DASHAIN
Hindu devotee Kumar Jakibanjar, 29, lies in bed for six hours covered by lit oil lamps on the ten day of the Hindu biggest festival, Dashain (Durga Puja) in Bhaktapur on the outskirts of Kathmandu, 21 October 2007 as other family members help him by lighting all the lamps properly. Devotees light lamps in the name of the goddess Durga as a ritual for good luck and prosperity. For the farmer, it means better crops.
