FRANCE-CORSICA-JUSTICE
French Jean-Guy Talamoni (L), Corsican militant and Regional Assembly representative and Stephane Colonna (R), brother of Yvan Colonna the alleged killer of French prefect Claude Erignac, are pictured during a break at the Paris courthouse, 12 November 2007, on the first day of the trial of Yvan Colonna. Yvan Colonna, a 47 year-old goat herder and independence activist, is accused of murdering the prefect on the French Mediterranean island Corsica, Claude Erignac, 60, in February 1998 as he walked to a concert-hall in the southern Corsican city of Ajaccio. Colonna, who is the son of a former Corsican parliament member, spent several years in hiding in the mountains of Corsica after being named as a suspect in the affair. He was finally captured in 2003. AFP PHOTO OLIVIER LABAN-MATTEI
