FRANCE-CORSICA-JUSTICE
Widow of French prefect Claude Erignac, Dominique (2ndR), her lawyer Me Philippe Lemaire (L), and her children Marie-Christophine (R) and Charles-Antoine (C) arrive after a break at the Paris courthouse, 12 November 2007, at the first day of the trial of Yvan Colonna, the alleged killer of Claude Erignac. Yvan Colonna, a 47 year-old goat herder and independence activist, is accused of murdering the prefect on the French Mediterranean island Corsica, Claude Erignac, 60, in February 1998 as he walked to a concert-hall in the southern Corsican city of Ajaccio. Colonna, who is the son of a former Corsican parliament member, spent several years in hiding in the mountains of Corsica after being named as a suspect in the affair. He was finally captured in 2003. AFP PHOTO OLIVIER LABAN-MATTEI
