TO GO WITH AFP STORY BY DELPHINE TOUITOU
(FILES) A file photo taken 11 March 1976 shows Swedish writer Astrid Lindgren posing in her home in Stockholm. Lindgren, who would have been 100 14 November 2007, still enjoys worldwide success with her children's books, which like her most famous character Pippi Longstocking do not seem to have aged a bit. Born 14 November 1907 in the southeastern Swedish town of Vimmerby, the writer revolutionized the world of children's books with such beloved characters as Emil of Maple Hill, Madicken, Karlsson-on-the Roof and Ronia the Robber's Daughter.
