FRANCE-BELGIUM-BRITAIN-CRIME-TRIAL-FOURNIRET
A policeman stands guard on March 20, 2008, in Charleville-Mezieres, in the Ardennes region bordering Belgium, at the entrance of the courthouse where French self-confessed serial killer, Michel Fourniret, and his wife Monique Olivier will go on trial on March 27, 2008 for seven murders of young women committed in France and Belgium between 1987 and 2001. Last week Fourniret was charged with two more killings including that of a British woman. His wife, Monique Olivier, was separately charged with complicity in the kidnappings and murders.
