BRAZIL-EDUCATION-VIDEOS
Nineteen-year-old student Marcia Leite, attend a class with her 16-year-old son Pablo Ricardo, at a public school in the settlement of Tupa, in Xapuri, in the northern Brazilian state of Acra, some 3,100 km from Brasilia on March 17, 2008. Schools across Acra, in the Amazon forest, are using videos as a teaching aid, a technic known as Tele-learning, to help overcome the tyranny of distance. The videos, which cover the entire primary school curriculum, play a key role in the education of 2,500 young schoolchildren in the state's rural areas. AFP PHOTO/Evaristo SÁ
