BRAZIL-EDUCATION-VIDEOS
Students attend a class at the public school of the São Pedro rubber plantation in Xapuri, in the northern Brazilian state of Acra, some 3,100 km from Brasilia on March 18, 2008. Schools across Acra, in the Amazon forest, are using videos as a teaching aid, a technic known as Tele-learning, to help overcome the tyranny of distance. The videos, which cover the entire primary school curriculum, play a key role in the education of 2,500 young schoolchildren in the state's rural areas. AFP PHOTO/Evaristo SÁ
