ULSTER-GOOD-FRIDAY-AGREEMENT-ANNIVERSARY
(FILES) File picture of two residents having their first look on April 1, 2008 in Belfast at the Peace Agreement signed by all parties late 10 April at Stormont. In staunchly Loyalist North Belfast with intimidating murals and the preparation of barn fires for the start of the marching season this week-end, they had their chance to read the document designed to bring peace to Northern Ireland. The Good Friday Agreement signed 10 years ago, was approved by a referendum. The agreement was promoted to the nationalist community as delivering civil rights, inclusive government, recognition of their Irishness, and a peaceful route to Irish reunification.
