(FILES) A photo taken on March 10, 2006 showing French poet Aime Cesaire (L) with French presidential candidate Nicolas Sarkozy. Cesaire, 94, died on April 17, 2008 at an hospital in Fort-de-France where he had been admitted on April 9.
