MIDEAST-ISRAEL-PALESTINIAN-RANTISSI-DEMO
Palestinian supporters of the radical Islamic Movement Hamas react 18 April 2004 in Ramallah to the death of the Hamas leader Abdelaziz Rantissi (poster). Rantissi died of his injures from an Israeli air strike in Gaza City late 17 April, along with his two bodyguards. Palestinian sources said the Hamas leader-s car took a direct hit from at least two rokets fired by an Israeli helicopter. This killing came nearly a month after the assassination of the founder and spiritual leader of Hamas Sheikh Ahmed Yassin on March 22. AFP PHOTO/Jamal ARURI
