Palestinian supporters of the radical Islamic movement Hamas stage a mock funeral in the West Bank town of Qalqilya, as the leader Abdelaziz Rantissi (picture) was being buried in Gaza City, 18 April 2004. Rantissi, the newly appointed leader of the radical Islamic movement, died of his injures from an Israeli air strike in Gaza City late 17 April. Palestinian sources said the Hamas leader-s car took a direct hit from at least two rockets fired by an Israeli helicopter, killing two of his bodyguard on the spot. This killing came nearly a month after the assassination of the founder and spiritual leader of Hamas Sheikh Ahmed Yassin on March 22. AFP PHOTO/Bashar NAZAL
