CHILE-VOLCANO-CHAITEN
A covoy of the Argentine Armed Forces arrives, with a waterworks machine and diesel, in the Chilean town of Futaleufu which is buried in a deep layer of ash from the 70-km-distant Chaiten volcano, in the south of the country on May 10, 2008. Chilean President Michelle Bachelet was to visit Saturday the area near the Chaiten volcano, which continued pouring out a huge column of ash and whose eruption eight days ago forced the evacuation of thousands from the area, the government announced.
