In an electrifying courtroom clash, Belgian convicted child rapist Marc Dutroux apologized personally to his two surviving victims for the first time 20 April, but was told to "go to hell" by one of them. The 47-year-old former electrian expressed his regrets hours after insisting he had been protecting a schoolgirl from being killed when he allegedly abducted and repeatedly raped her in a cellar beneath his house in 1996.
