BELGIUM- TRIAL-DUTROUX
Georges-Henri Beauthier, the lawyer of Laetitia Delhez, one of the two young women who survived Belgian Marc Dutroux- alleged crimes, answers journalists- questions outside the Arlon-s assize court 22 April 2004. In an electrifying courtroom clash, Belgian convicted child rapist Marc Dutroux apologized personally to his two surviving victims for the first time 20 April, but was told to "go to hell" by one of them. The 47-year-old former electrian expressed his regrets hours after insisting he had been protecting a schoolgirl from being killed when he allegedly abducted and repeatedly raped her in a cellar beneath his house in 1996.
