GERMANY-ECB-EUROGROUP
EU economic and monetary affairs commissioner Joaquin Almunia (R) talks with the President of the European Central Bank (ECB), Jean-Claude Triichet on June 2, 2008 before an Eurogroup Council meeting at the ECB in Frankfurt. The annual eurozone inflation rate fell to 3.3 percent in April, from 3.6 percent in March, but remains well above the ECB's medium-term target of just under 2.0 percent.
