AUSTRIA-GERMANY-POLITICS-SKI-ACCIDENT
Skiing tourists look at a cross and a candle on January 6, 2009 that has been put at the place where the Premier of the German state of Thuringia, Dieter Althaus, had a serious skiing accident that killed one other person in Donnersbachwald, Austria, on January 1, 2009. The other skier, a 41-year-old Slovakian mother of four living in the United States, died of her injuries on the way to hospital.
