The former president the Basque Nationalist Party PNV, Xabier Arzalluz (3rd L) stands with other PNV militants in front of the Basque Country court, to support the Basque regional government president Juan Jose Ibarretxe who has taken part in his trial, on December 8, 2009, in the northern Spanish Basque city of Bilbao. Ibarretxe, the leader of Basque Socialist Party PSE-PSOE Patxi Lopez and PSE member Rodolfo Ares are charged with meeting Arnaldo Otegi and other representatives of the banned political wing of the armed separatist group ETA, Batasuna.
