MACEDONIA-IVANOV-INAGURATION
The president of the Republic of Macedonia Branko Crvenkovski (L) and the president-elect Gjorge Ivanov (R) wave to the people in front of the Macedonian Parliament in Skopje on May 12,2009, prior to the inauguration of the new president. Macedonia's new president said at his swearing-in speech that resolving an 18-year-old dispute with Greece amid a push for NATO and EU membership was his number one political priority.
