IRAQ-RELIGION-SABEAN-MANDEAN
An Iraqi girl dressed in five pieces of fine white cloth, joins others of the Sabean religion during a cleansing ritual along the banks of the Tigris River in Baghdad on May 21, 2009. This ancient religion follows the teachings of St. John the Baptist with moving water a focal point to all their rituals.
