Brazilian aircrafts and ships swept early today a vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean, hunting for any sign of the Air France plane carrying 228 people that disappeared halfway between Rio de Janeiro and Paris. Seventy-three French, 58 Brazilians, and 26 Germans were among the 228 people of over 30 different nationalities on the jet missing, officials and the airline said today.
