FRANCE-BELGIUM-BLIND-RECORD-BOAT
Luc Costermans (R), A Belgian man, blind since an accident in 2004, steers a motor-boat beside his sighted co-skipper Mario Porcel (L), on June 16, 2009 in the Gulf of Porticcio near Ajaccio, after Costermans broke three world records by circumnavigating Corsica in 7 hours 51 minutes and 4 seconds, with a maximum speed of 46,8 knots and covering a distance of 235 nautical miles.
