MIDEAST-ISRAEL-US-POLLARD
Israeli protesters hold a placard 16 November 2003 with a picture of Jonathan Pollard, an American Jew who was jailed for life in the US for spying for Israel, during a protest for his release and against Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's utter abandonment of an Israeli agent in peril. The demo was held outside the US united Jewish communities' general assembly in Jerusalem while Prime Minister Sharon was speaking.
