(FILES) - Picture taken on February 10, 2000 in Paris shows French anthropologist and father of structuralism Claude Levi-Strauss arriving at the French Academie. Levi-Strauss, who helped shape Western thinking about human civilisation, has died at the age of 100, his publisher said on November 3, 2009.
