The grave of French anthropologist and father of structuralism Claude Levi-Strauss is seen on November 4, 2009 at the cemetery of Lignerolles eastern France. Levi-Strauss, who helped shape Western thinking about human civilisation, has died on October 30, 2009 at the age of 100, and was buried at a private service.
