(FILES) This file photo taken on November 7, 2009 shows Le Ba Hung, the commander of USS Lassen and a Vietnamese native of Hue in central Vietnam, looking back at his hat which was blown off by the wind aboard his destroyer at Tien Sa port in Vietnam's central coastal city of Da Nang. More than 30 years after he was picked up by a US warship as he fled Vietnam, Le Ba Hung has returned to his homeland as commander of a destroyer in a sign of warming ties between the former foes.
