A man stokes a fire on a street barricaded with boulders and burning tyres on April 09, 2010 in the aftermath of protests at Mouheli. Hundreds of islanders demonstrated Friday in the Comoros island of Moheli against the extension of the term of the Indian Ocean archipelago's President Ahmed Sambi. The protesters, mainly women and youths, gathered near the Fomboni airport as the African Union Peace and Security Commissioner Ramtane Lamamra arrived for talks over the crisis sparked by the extension of the president's mandate that has seen tension grip the archipelago, more so at Mouheli that was next in-line to produce the union's president.
