Hundreds of protesters demonstrated today in the Comoros island of Moheli against the extension of the term of the Indian Ocean archipelago's president.The protesters, mainly women and youths, gathered near the Fomboni airport as the African Union Peace and Security Commissioner Ramtane Lamamra arrived for talks over the crisis sparked by the extension of the president's mandate that has seen tension grip the three island union, particularly at Mouheli, that was next in line to produce a union president.
