FRANCE-BRAZIL-AIR-ACCIDENT
The lawyers of the relatives victims of the AF447 crash, Alain Jakubowicz (C), Executive Director of flight 447's victims association, Brazilian Marten Van Sluys (L) and Jean-Baptiste Audousset (2ndR), president of "Entraide et Solidarit? AF447" (AF447 aid and solidarity) association give a press conference with the Rio-Paris plane crash victims' families on May 31, 2010, in Paris, on the eve of a ceremony in tribute to the victims. The Airbus 330 crashed in a storm on its way from Rio de Janeiro to Paris on June 1, 2009 with the loss of all 228 people on board, the worst disaster in Air France's 75-year history. Many relatives of victims of the crash allege that the Aviation Investigation and Analysis Bureau (BEA), Airbus and Air France are dragging out the enquiry to avoid admitting that the disaster was caused by a known problem with the jet's air speed monitors.
