FRANCE-US-JUSTICE-VIVENDI-TRIAL
Vivendi's former managing director Eric Licoys (L) arrives with his lawyer at Paris' courthouse on June 3, 2010 in Paris, to appear in the trial of seven former Vivendi SA executives. Ex-Vivendi boss Jean-Marie Messier is accused of misleading the stock market, manipulating share prices and misusing corporate funds in the 2000-2002 period when Vivendi, previously a sleepy French water utility, went on a massive takeover spree.
