Vicki DiMaggio Davidson, 64, of Bay Point, CA, was diagnosed with HIV in the mid-1980's and became co-infected with Hepatitis C in 1986. Over the last several years, she has experienced a number of chronic health issues common to adults her age, including fatigue, depression, knee and hip surgery.Some 15 years into the era of protease inhibitors and drug cocktails, the first large group of AIDS patients to go through the aging process is facing a host of unexpected medical conditions, not to mention psychological and financial challenges they never thought they would live to see.
