LUXEMBOURG-EU-EUROGROUP-GREECE
(FromL) Dutch Finance Minister Jan Kees de Jager, Finnish Finance Minister Jyrki Katainen and Austrian Federal Finance Minister Maria Fekter talk prior to an Eurogroup meeting on June 19, 2011 at the EU Headquarters in Luxembourg. They arrived for a two days of crunch talks to release funds to keep Athens from default in the summer, while mulling the shape of a second bailout for Athens in just over a year. Ministers from the 17 nations using the euro were to begin talks at 7:00 pm (1700 GMT) to approve loans of over 8.7 billion euros ($12.5 billion), their share of a 12-billion-euro tranche of bailout funding which Athens needs to avoid default next month.
