GERMANY-DISASTER-LOVEPARADE-MUSIC-TUNNEL-ANNIVERSARY
Rescue workers lays down sunflowers on July 24, 2011 at the MSV-Arena football stadium in Duisburg, western Germany, to commemorate the accident one year ago during the Loveparade, killing 21 people. It is the first anniversary of the disaster in which victims were crushed to death in a stampede as they desperately tried to escape a narrow tunnel that served as the only entrance to the grounds hosting the techno music festival.
