RUGBYU-WC2011-WAL-SHANKLIN-FILES
(FILES) In a photo taken on February 23, 2008, Tom Shanklin of Wales scores a try during 6 Nations Rugby Union International played at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, South Wales. Wales veteran Tom Shanklin warned in August 2011 that the ever-improving Pacific Island teams pose a real danger to Wales' chances of escaping from their 2011 World Cup group. Shanklin, who had been with Cardiff Blues since 2003 before retiring, scored 100 points in 70 Wales appearances, making him his country's 11th most-capped player. AFP PHOTO/Geoff Caddick
