The chief prosecutor at the UN's war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia wants two separate trials for ex Bosnian Serb military chief Ratko Mladic, his office said on August 17, 2011. "The prosecutor is asking to sever the Mladic indictment into two parts and to conduct two separate trials instead of one," said Ljiljana Pitesa, information assistant at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia's prosecutor's office.
