A lawyer said on October 11, 2011 that Mladic, detained by the UN court pending trial for genocide and war crimes, has been hospitalized with pneumonia. Mladic, 69, who faces 11 counts before the ICTY for his part in the 1992-95 war in Bosnia, has complained about health issues since his first appearance on June 3 following his arrest in Serbia after 16 years on run.
