Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf addresses international media before the announcement of the result of the presidential election in Monrovia on November 10, 2011. Liberia's Nobel Peace Prize winning leader Ellen Johnson Sirleaf was today confirmed the victor of a run-off poll boycotted by the opposition, with only 37.4 voter turnout. The National Elections Commission announced that with results tallied from 86.6 percent of polling stations, Sirleaf won 90.8 percent, and her rival Winston Tubman who pulled out of the election, won nine percent.
