IRAQ-US-TROOPS
US Major General Ronald Johnson (L), commander of the US Army-s Corps of Engineers Gulf Region Division (Provisional), presents Lieutenant General Ricardo Sanchez, commander of US ground troops in Iraq, the division-s commemorative plaque for the activation of the division in Baghdad 25 January 2004. The division-s activation brings under one structure some 20 separate Corps offices and organizations. The division, which will be involved alongside Iraqi engineers in improvements to the country-s battered infrastructure, will have a hand in overseeing billions of dollars in reconstruction of the war-ravaged country.
