ETHIOPIA-AFRICANUNION-SUMMIT-VOTE
African Union (AU) Commission Chairman Jean Ping listens to the AU national anthem early on January 31, 2012 in Addis Ababa following an extension of his mandate after his re-election. Bloc chairman, Benin's President Thomas Boni Yayi, announced at the end of a two-day summit in Addis Ababa that the AU had decided to prolong the mandate of the current commission until the next summit in Lilongwe, Malawi later this year.
