ETHIOPIA-AFRICANUNION-SUMMIT-VOTE
African Union (AU) commission chief Jean Ping speaks on January 31, 2012 after the AU extended his mandate following his re-election in Addis Ababa. AU chairman, Benin's President Boni Yayi (C), announced at the end of a two-day summit in Addis Ababa that the AU had decided to prolong the mandate of the current commission until the next summit in Lilongwe, Malawi, later this year.
