Emergency services workers in protective suits walk near the site of a train crash in Wetteren, on May 11, 2013. In the night from Friday 3 to Saturday 4 May a freight train derailed and exploded on a track near Schellebelle (part of Wichelen, Wetteren). The train contained the chemical product acrylonitrile, a toxic and inflammable fluid that can cause breathing problems. Emergency services evacuated some 2000 residents.
