Arthur Hartog poses at the Necessidades Palace in Lisbon on June 21, 2013. He is one of thirty descendants of survivors from the debacle of 1940 saved by the visas issued by Aristides de Sousa Mendes, then consul General of Portugal in Bordeaux, France.
